How My Wealth Planner works

Move from a financial dream to a practical plan, record the steps you take and compare progress with what you planned.

The four parts of the app work together, but you remain in control of the amounts, assumptions and decisions.

Dream — define what you want to make possible

Start with a financial dream and give it a target amount and timeframe. The app keeps the goal and the assumptions you enter together.

Examples can include a financial buffer, home improvements and extra retirement income.

Plan — choose how you want to work towards it

Set the contributions, timing and assumptions you want to use. The plan remains visible and can be updated when circumstances or priorities change.

Most record forms become available after a plan is created. Records are linked to a plan, so progress can be compared with what you intended.

Record — log what happened

Record contributions and other actions after they have taken place outside the app. This creates a clear record that can be compared with the plan.

You can log a purchase or a sale after you acted with your own bank or broker, or enter an existing position as an opening balance when you have prepared a related plan.

Reports — compare progress with the plan

Reports bring the goal, current plan and recorded progress together. This makes differences between what was planned and what was recorded easier to review.

The report does not decide whether a result is financially suitable; that decision remains yours.
